SGTE Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is a structural steel detailing company with 31+ years of industry experience. Based in Nashik, Maharashtra, India, we provide detailed engineering solutions for industrial, commercial, and transmission tower projects.
Our team specializes in structural steel detailing, shop and erection drawings, and connection design, using industry-standard platforms including Tekla Structures, SDS2, and AVEVA BOCAD-3D.
We believe good detailing starts with understanding the project. Our team works closely with clients, engineers, and fabricators throughout the detailing process to ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and practical for fabrication and erection.

About The Founder
Founded by Civil Engineer Narendra Sonawane, SGTEC Engineering is built on more than 31 years of experience in structural steel design, engineering and detailing across major international industrial, commercial, infrastructure, oil & gas and power projects.
Over the course of his career, he has worked across a wide range of industries, including Oil & Gas, refining, petrochemicals, power, chemicals, infrastructure, commercial and residential construction. His project experience includes onshore and offshore facilities, pipe racks, industrial platforms, heavy industrial buildings, complex commercial and multi-storey structures, hospitals, bridges, trusses, transmission line towers, substations and power plants.
His experience extends well beyond drafting. Mr. Narendra has worked as a Lead Designer, Quality Checker, Engineering Coordinator and Team Leader, handling design reviews, drawing coordination, connection design, quantity estimation, material take-offs, RFI resolution, vendor coordination, shop and site coordination, proposal work, progress tracking and project scheduling.
Mr. Narendra Sonawane has extensive working knowledge of Tekla Structures, SDS/2, AVEVA BOCAD, Smart Plant 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, AutoPlant, Navisworks Review and SmartPlant Review. He is familiar with AISC, CISC, Australian, European, Russian, Indian and British standards, as well as OSHA requirements and industry safety practices.
